The Hillside Resort is the perfect place to get away from it all to relax and enjoy nature. We have 11 cabins, 8 of which are open year round. We have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units to meet the needs of all families and groups. The resort is located on the stunning south shore of the 4,000 acre Lac Vieux Desert. This lake offers a wide variety of fish such as walleye, perch, crappie, smallmouth and large mouth bass, northern pike and musky. This resort is perfect for fishing year round! We are on the snowmobile, atv/utv trails. The newly remodeled rooms offer a comfortable and stylish place to stay. The free wifi means that you can stay connected even while you’re on vacation, and the close proximity to the lake means that you can make the most of your time outdoors. We offer a private boat launch and a dock for each cabin. Whether you’re looking to relax or adventure, the Hillside Resort is the perfect place for you.

Phelps Hillside Resort is proud to offer Cabin 1. It has 3 bedrooms which has 1 queen bed in the master bedroom, the 2nd bedroom offers a bunk bed with a twin over a full as well as a single twin bed, the 3rd bedroom offers a bunk bed with a twin over a full as well as a single twin bed. It also has a pullout futon in the living room. It has 1.5 baths, kitchenette and has incredible views of Lac Vieux Desert!
Hillside Cabin 5
2 Bedrooms | 1 Bathrooms l up to 6 people
Cabin 5 is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath & offers a kitchenette. It has 1 queen bed in the master bedroom, in the 2nd bedroom it has a bunk bed with1 twin bed over 1 full bed and a pullout futon in the living room. This cabin has beautiful views of Lac Vieux Desert!

Hillside Resort Cabin 7 features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchenette, offers 1 queen bed in the master bedroom, and in the 2nd bedroom it offers a bunk bed with 1 full bed, 1 twin and a pullout futon in the living room. The cabin also has beautiful views of Lac Vieux Desert!
